Shipstern Bluff lit up for two days this week with a big WSW swell. Monday ranged from 8 to 10 ft sets with rouge 12 to 15ft bombs, Tuesday was slightly friendlier with some fun 8 ft paddle waves for the local crew. Plenty of big pits and nasty beat

downs, pretty standard for the Stern. Tyler got the wave of the swell getting clipped at the end of the pit resulting in a burst ear drum.

Enjoy the multiple image angles by Andy Chiza and myself, thanks to Dave Otto from Shipsterns.com for leading me to a fresh angle of Shipstern bluff, this was only possible with the 1200mm lens i hired for the swell, it creates a pretty cool almost helicopter angle of the wave. 30 minutes of crawling through the Shrub and mutilated legs was worth it!
