In the early days, we used to spend A LOT of time cruising the east coast. Here’s some images from some of those sessions, back int he 80′s…

Alan Davis’s old superbug completely with mini home component stereo in the glove box was a cool surf mission car. This up the east coast somewhere…

There was a massive east coast swell at the time. we were on our way to suss out Reben and we stumbled across this site. We called is Cavities. Still wouldn’t know where it was now. early-80′s

Daves Place, always one of those spots that no one could really be too bothered to go and surf, not to mention all the dead fish and stuff with all the fishing boats was a bit of a put off too..

Scotty sussing out Daves place close up. mid 80′s.

Eagle Hawk used to pump back int he 80-’s. It was serious this day. Round 8-10 foot and super consistent. That’s the reef out the back….

Al Davis Sinking his teeth into a burger from Murdunna store. At the time, these were the best burgers int he whole state. Mid 80′s.

A rare beachie doing it’s thing and no one around at all. If you don’t know where this is, don’t ask, because I couldn’t even find it now…

The same Beachie, although it could just have easily been Hermitage. We surfed there a lot.

Early morning fishermen at St Helens.

Kim Burgess Watson and Alan Davis scoping out Little Swanport.

Swansea point copping some south swell….

Coles Bay to Wineglass bay track and a wallaby.…

This is me at Rubbish tip. Most of the waves were clipping the rock. I did that dance and lost. Lost a fin and crushed the nose of my board. ha ha

Not sure who it is, but it’s Egg Beach at eagle Hawk. Place gets real good sometimes. Used to anyway…..

Swansea Point with someone out. I remember it being late in the day when I shot this…
