Drove 500 klms yesterday, and didnt get in the water, there was a 2 to 3 ft swell flopping on the white sand beaches, our pristine coasts are littered with but seriously there is not 1 good reef set up or consistent sand bank on the whole East coast! dont even get me started on the West coast.

lets bring back the idea for artificial reefs. as long as they are scientifically eco friendly what’s the problem?

gday stu. thats why we keep chasing……i once got skunked 7 times in a row…..and theres always the flipside , when you score jackpot and kill the pig…..i also rekon the combination of fikleness and persistence results in time, with more uncrowded surfs(smething many surfers get on their holidays)and also these places can also give you that once in a decade photo, and you have nailed some classics….try and use the time and keep tweeking your focus on when this n that happens this could result, and id like to capture it some time and often it will….its been pretty lean pickings over here for me. too much work, driving to work, traffic and car prangs…..faaaark, i hate em….i been stoked to find time to get a 2 foot onshore grovel or a swim in the pool(true)…..ill also add that now ya been chasing for a decade or so , so expectations and goals are adjusted accordingly….im frothing to get to tassie for a holiday….say gday to al purden for me ….keep up the good work and about may , things should start happening from mick b
